Calling All T1D Families: We Want to Hear From You!
Are you the parent of a child with Type 1 Diabetes? If so, please consider sharing the story of your T1D journey with us.
I'm the mother of a young adult with T1D and I'm also a pediatrician. I've partnered with the American Academy of Pediatrics and am currently writing a book that will provide parents of children diagnosed with T1D with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to raise healthy, resilient and competent adults.
As members of the T1D community, T1D parent veterans and their T1D champion children have a lot of knowledge and experience managing and thriving with this condition. Together, we can help other T1D families who are navigating this journey by sharing our experiences and lesssons learned. Contributing your unique story will go a very long way to educate and empower parents to weather the storm and manage the highs and lows not only of blood sugar but of emotions and every day life.
